Why I'm Running
A village is more than roads and waterfront. It's a culture of trust.
Peace and safety aren't necessarily just a function of space and geography — they are a function of community and culture, of trust and relationship.
My family has lived on this island for five generations. My great grandfather served as one of the first village justices, and my grandfather served as mayor. My family built the police station and protected Eastover. When my grandfather was mayor, he regularly hosted community picnics, tennis tournaments, and seasonal gatherings. Everyone was welcome.
